Restaurant Dejvická 34 was born from a simple idea: to cook well and create a place people are happy to return to. At its head is Tomáš Černý – an energetic chef, co-owner, and the person who gives the restaurant its direction, pace, and character.
Tomáš spent more than twenty years in kitchens alongside prominent Italian Michelin-starred chefs. That is where our warm relationship with Italian and Mediterranean cuisine comes from. He travels constantly and continues to deepen his knowledge so he can bring our guests new ideas and recipes.
Tomáš often steps out of the kitchen, as he cannot imagine his work without direct contact with guests. Together with him, Dejvická 34 is shaped by a stable team of professionals, many of them long-time colleagues and friends. Thanks to this, there is a natural, informal atmosphere here, free of unnecessary formality.
